Curiosity and creativity were intrinsic qualities from a very young age, a path where crafting by hand became a desired occupation and eventually a professional journey.

From making experimental bracelets and necklaces to spending entire days working on creating shapes with brass, finding unique and minimalistic combinations, using imagination, technique and raw materials.

When I moved from Belgium to Portugal in 2009, I started exploring wire work, macrame & a growing fascination for feathers and how to integrate them.

I would take my creations to the streets of beautiful Sintra and sell to tourists.

A metal smithing course in India in 2010, anchored my passion. Combining metal work with feathers became the base of my work and still is.

My most recent collections naturally and effortlessly seeming, bring together feathers, brass & silver.

Living in the calm countryside and planning my work schedule around being able to travel world wide to sell my creations are personal lifestyle choices I have made.

Observing, imagining and improvising are fundamental pillars of my day to day at the studio in Azoia, Sesimbra.

Here I aim to create colorful, versatile, comfortable, ethnic pieces, that complement natural beauty.

I wish to inspire my clients to ambition for a deep sense of personal freedom and effortlessly feeling beautiful in doing so. May my creations be a reminder of those feelings within, to anyone wearing or admiring them.

Sena Creations have been beautifully presented in Belgium, Germany, Slovenia, Austria, France and Portugal at multiple events.
